Venue Hire

If you are looking for venue hire in Acton W3, we have four spaces available for hire at St. Dunstan’s Church. Please note that we don not hire our buildings on Sundays, except for church use.  All spaces are suitable for a variety of one-off private parties and community or commercial bookings.

Childrens’ birthday parties
Both the main Hall and The Goldsmiths’ Room are suitable for children’s birthday parties. Hall hire includes use of the kitchen and outdoor space (big enough to set up a bouncy castle in the summer). In the Hall, tables can easily be set up on one side and games or entertainment on the other as the pillars create a natural, partial divide. The Hall has easy-clean linoleum flooring and is suitable for messy activities, dancing, games etc.

The Goldsmiths’ Room upstairs has its own small kitchen attached for your use, and is fully carpeted. This room can be set up for film or entertainers.  

Weddings and blessings
We have been delighted to have lots of weddings use the facilities at St. Dunstan’s to celebrate with family and friends, either after the service in church or following a register office ceremony and blessing. Use of tables, crockery, cutlery, and glassware can be arranged at a small additional cost.

Family gatherings
For birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, and funerals, the halls for hire at St Dunstan’s church can accommodate anything from a small, intimate gathering of 20 up to 100 (seated) and 170 standing.

Music rehearsals & Concerts
The main church has been hired for a variety of classical, choral, and jazz music rehearsals and concerts.

Fundraising and social events
The halls and main church can be turned into a single space and hired for fundraising events for charitable causes at a reduced rate.

Meetings
We regularly host meetings such as the Goldsmith’s Residents Association, Corporate meetings, and events for small businesses.

Training courses
St Dunstan’s has hosted a number of courses for organisations including census collector training and youth worker inductions.

Polling station
St Dunstan’s is a polling station for national and local elections, and referendums.

Film and photo shoot location
The special architectural features of the church make it an ideal backdrop for film and photo shoots. All the chairs can be cleared away to create a  large open space.
